Care Micro Systems Limited is committed to protecting the environment and to updating its practices in light of advances in technology and new understanding in health and environmental science.
We believe that our company has the responsibility to conduct our business as proactive and responsible stewards of the environment and to seek profits through businesses that provide quality and value to our customers in an environmentally sound manner.
We believe that our company has a responsibility to protect the ability of future generations to sustain their needs. As a company, we will apply our belief in respecting and protecting the environment in all phases of our business. It is our goal to develop our products and services so that they are compatible with the environment, beneficial in their use and manageable in their disposal.
We can supply a wide range of energy efficient IT systems and aim to encourage all of our customers to be greener. Key elements of our policy are:
- Management accountability for compliance to statutory requirements.
- Regular recorded site audits.
- Operation of COSHH regulations.
- Promotion of staff awareness.
- Implementation of safe industrial practices.
Our practices include:
- Recycling of all batteries
- Recycling of all redundant stock
- All Hard drives are sent for MOD data formatting and on for re-cycling / reuse
- Use of occupancy detectors for lighting
- Funding scheme used to encourage employees to cycle to work
- Appointment of "Green Champion" - Chris Gans
